Project “ADOR – Awareness, Development, Origins, Resources”, 21st – 29nd of August 2016, Vadul lui Voda, Republic of Moldova
Project “ADOR” is a multilateral youth exchange realized with the efforts of young people from 5 countries: Italy, Moldova, Portugal, Ukraine and Greece. The main aim of the project is to raise awareness about the migrant’s needs and problems through the creative workshops on migration, music, handcrafts, photography, sharing best practices as well as by developing the youngster’s leadership and creative skills. In order to achieve this aim the following main objectives are established:
1. Raise awareness about migrant’s needs and problems they face in inclusion process,
2. Reflect on the possible solution for the migrants problems and share the best practices in the filed
3. Offer a space to young people where they could increase inter-cultural competences, develop leadership and creative skills
4. Empower young people to take an active role in their local communities and develop future joint initiative.
Thus, 41 young people and youth leaders, representing a mixed group of youth and youth with fewer opportunities, will meet in Moldova, during 21-29 august 2016, to raise awareness about the migrant’s needs and developing the youngster’s leadership and creative skills. The youngsters will be involved in a variety of creative, interactive and interesting activities that will help them increase and share their knowledge. Project: "ARTS of CITIZENSHIP" at Valea Doftanei, ROMANIA, 17th to 25th of June 2016. The project is a result of a follow-up process of other project in which participants from the countries involved find a commune needs in the local community: lack of youth participation, tools to motivate peoples to get involved and art expression of youngsters. The project is designed to explore the concept of citizenship in general and European citizenship in particular using art as a tool for fostering youth participation. The youth exchange is fulfilling needs for gaining knowledge in citizenship education and gain practical tools how to be active citizens and promote active citizenship in local, national and European level using non formal education approach. Participants from youth organization will have the opportunity to have better understanding about different types of citizenship and their important role as young generation in building Europe. The main objective of the project is to raise the desire of becoming active citizens among young Europeans, informing them about the meaning and concrete practice of volunteering, based on the direct experience of civic and voluntary organizations. The project will also allow involved organizations to develop a better understanding of their own action in a European framework and participants to experiment a new form of informal learning.
